Marlon Smith

Marlon Smith is a native of Jacksonville, Florida. He is a 5th year Senior at Florida State University soon to earn a B.S. in Information Technology. Marlon trained in the styles of Hip Hop, contemporary, and Modern and has performed in numerous events under the Kollage Dance Troupe, Incorporated at FSU-Tallahassee, Florida, A Rhythm Nation, Jacksonville, Florida and at the Notorious Dance League [N.D.L] of Tallahassee, Florida. Marlon has the distinction of working under the instruction Kavin Grant, Dewit Cooper, Savory Morgan, and Desmond Walker of DW Choreography. He is an aspiring Hip Hop/Contemporary dancer and freelance hip-hop choreographer. Armed with undeniable talent with a desire to motivate and encourage others, Marlon hopes to promote positivity and inspire others through dance and entertainment.

Trenton J. Shakespeare

Trenton is a native of Jacksonville, Florida. He is a 5th year Senior at Florida State University soon to earn a B.F.A in English, concentration in Creative Writing, with a minor in Communications and Film. He has trained with Kollage Dance Troupe Incorporated (FSU-Tallahassee, FL), A Rhythm Nation (Jacksonville, FL) and the Notorious Dance League [N.D.L] (Tallahassee, FL). He is currently active in A Kavin Grant Production, N.D.L and was the Hip-Hop Lead in The Chocolate Nutcracker (Jacksonville, FL). He is an aspiring dancer and talented freelance hip-hop choreographer. He has presented works in

Tallahassee, FL and can’t wait to share his talent with the rest of world.

Keith Johnson

Dance becamce apart of Keith's life at the age of five, It became a passion at the age of nine. Throughout his journey into the dance life he have been teaching and inspiring dancers from all walks of life.  He has trained with Kollage Dance Troupe Incorporated (FSU-Tallahassee, FL), and the Notorious Dance League [N.D.L] (Tallahassee, FL). The experience has been a huge career boost and allows him to share his passion for learning dance and choreography with the world. He loves it and I'm never gonna stop!!! Keith seeks interesting, entertaining, diversified and engaging performance opportunities in choreography that focus on interactivity and a variety of theatrical experience to entertain and motivate others through his passion for dance and teaching.

Sam Hills III

As a native of Jacksonville, Florida, Samuel Hills III has made his mark in his hometown by dipping his fingers in almost every part of the dance community. From dancing principal roles in companies all over such as A Rhythm Nation, Systematic, FSCJs DanceWorks, and the CooperMorgan Company to choreographing for Lavilla, championship cheerleadering squads, camps, companies, pageants, churches, parties, and occasions of all types he has made quite an impression on the art department of the Duval and Clay county area. So far in the short time of his teaching career he has manage to have the pleasure of educating studios throughout every side of this big city along with  Boleros Grand Ballroom, Arts Edge, Atlantic Dance Coast, Florida Ballet, Orlando Ballet, Dynamic Dance, All Star Gym, Jacksonville Centre of the Arts, and DanceMania. All awhile co-producing and directing his very own dance theater and stage play production company, Mega Mind Productions, producing shows of great quality and professionalism to educate the community in the power and message of the fine arts with the help of about 60 gifted adult individuals of all ages coming together as one to express their passion.





Ryan Carlson

Ryan was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. He began his dance training at age twelve  at Center Stage Dance Company.  Ryan has trained in ballet, jazz, modern, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop and gymnastics. He is in the First National Tour of  "Flashdance the Musical".  He is a graduate from Douglas Anderson School of the Arts And is a company member of Rasta Thomas's "Bad Boys of Dance" where he has preformed in over 10 countries worldwide. He has also worked with the Company named "Lightwire Theatre" Directed by Ian Carny and performed with the live "Americas Got Talent" show In Vegas. Ryan has received many awards as a competition dancer including Teen Mr. Dance of Florida. He has also won numerous awards for choreography and began teaching with The Dancer’s Spotlight convention at age 15. Ryan Carlson was also one of very few chosen to attend Jacob's Pillow Hip Hop Program.  Ryan is a member of the award winning “Systematic” dance crew with recognition as the winner of BET’s "Best Dance Crew". Ryan also is the founder of his own dance organization called "UNDERDOGZ ".He has  been a featured dancer in several music videos and TV commercials.  
 





Rochelle Underdue

Rochelle Maria Underdue has expressed and utilized her love for dance throughout her 6+ years in Florida.Starting out as a natural performer,her first dance experiences took place with Kavin Grant, learning choreography and styles hip hop/ contemporary in the local company ARN.Dance led her to explore many opportunities such as becoming one of a dance manager of FSCJ Danceworks Dance Company,a Jewels cheerleader for Jacksonville Giants semi pro basketball team and was a hip hop teacher for Polly B’s Dance Academy,JCA and Spectrum.Building her name in the dance world,it lead her to also work with local artists and companies (Raquel Cheech Underdue,Jasmine Rhey,Felica Nicole and Joy Dennis) to travel with her gift.With all these and many other  accomplishments, not only did she grow as a student, dancer,teacher,and choreographer,she allowed her love for many dance styles to grow in a combination of one,modern-fusion.With this gift,she is currently a member of Morgan Brown's Dance Company.She is seeking interest in double majoring in dance and education to become a high school counselor. Relying on love, dance, and life experiences, Rochelle's goal is to help, guide, and influence the upcoming generation. “Love can conquer ANYTHING.”

Nateli M. Ruiz

Nateli M. Ruiz, a 22yr old Hispanic and St. Croix native of the U.S. Virgin Islands graduated from Jacksonville University in the Bachelor of Fine Arts program for Dance. She has been dancing since the age of four at Music in Motion, Pointe Dance Academy a Cecchetti based classical ballet dance school in St. Croix, USVI. Having the opportunity to broaden her dance styles on the island, she participated in the Cruzan Dance Summer Intensive of 2003-2005, directed and choreographed by Alex E. Simon.

 

Throughout her time at Jacksonville University, Nateli has gotten several scholarships and awards for her excellence in the Arts. She has had the opportunity to work with ABT II, David Parsons Jennifer Muller, Attila Joey Csiki, Jerry Opendeiker, Takehiro Ueyama, Rosero McCoy, and Michael Foley. Nateli also had the opportunity to work with Debbie Allen twice: She first worked with her through the Debbie Allen's Summer Intensive in 2008 as a scholarship student and the second time in 2010 at the Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade as a backup dancer for Mariah Carey.

 

Visiting the islands, Nateli choreographed & volunteered for Make A Move Dance Show directed by Kevin Swanston and D4H (Dance For Him) a non-profit organization directed by Tiffany Rogers.She then made her first national choreographic debut in the music video "Sweet Love" by Adam-O ft. Mystro. In Jacksonville, she has participated in several dance show cases for "A Kavin Grant Production", directed and choreographed by Kavin Grant. In addition to performing, she taught and choreographed for Oceanway School of Dance and BRAVO Dance. .

 

This past summer of 2013, Nateli had the opportunity to participate in the ARCHCORE40 Summer Intensive directed by world-renowned choreographer Jennifer Archibald. Auditioning amongst 200 others, she was selected to be one of 40 participants. Furthermore, she was selected by Daryl Foster (Scholarship Director) to be a scholar at Gotta Dance Atlanta dance studios in Atlanta, GA. Her future plans are to continue free-lancing, auditioning, and dancing with professional companies and agencies around the world. 

 

Julie Williams

Julie "J-Da" Williams, 26 (Jacksonville, Florida), is a graduate of Douglas Anderson School of the Arts. She trained at Jacksonville Centre Of the Arts under Kezia Rolle and the late Conrad Lewis. She also trained at Bates Dance Festival, Sarasota Ballet,  anx Jacob's Pillow. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance at New World School of the Arts/ University of Florida program. She's a principal Dancer of CooperMorgan Dance Theatre. She recently returned to the States from Osaka, Japan in a 9-month contract with Universal Studios Japan as a dancer/singer. Choreography credit: Black Expo : Bobby Jones GospelFest Competition, J. Dash "Strut", National Association of Black Social Workers, and The Chocolate Nutcracker, just to name a few. She owns Doss Ningyou, LLC and Unique Breed Group.
